Quality Inn & Suites in Val-d'Or wins 12th Platinum Guest Satisfaction Award

Val-d'Or, Quebec - Choice Hotels Canada is pleased to announce that the Quality Inn & Suites in Val-d'Or recently won its 12th Platinum Guest Satisfaction Award.

Since opening in 2011, the hotel has earned six Awards for Property Excellence, two Gold Guest Satisfaction Awards, and now its 12th Platinum Award from Choice Hotels Canada.  Platinum winners are among the top three per cent of over 350 hotels from coast to coast and represent the best of the best in the Choice Hotels Canada portfolio. This award is determined largely by verified customer feedback through guest insight surveys and Likelihood to Recommend scores.

The 82-room hotel has previously received the prestigious honours of being named Choice Hotels Canada's Hotel of the Year and the Choice Hotels International's International Hotel of the Year for the Quality brand, not once, but twice.

At the end of 2023, the property's owners, CREECO, announced a multi-million-dollar investment, which substantially expanded the property, with a 42-room, 3-storey addition, boasting multiple extended stay suites with closed bedrooms and fully equipped kitchens, rooftop terrace and a 1,000 square feet conference space. Additional renovations included overhauling the existing guest rooms and breakfast room, updating the lobby, upgrading the fitness room and expanding the guest laundry facilities.
