Two employees of the Quality Inn & Suites Val-d’Or are award recipients at the regional “Grands Prix du Tourisme Québécois” Gala

Two employees working at the Quality Inn & Suites Val-d'Or are award recipients at the Regional "Grands prix du tourisme québécois" Gala: Ms. Betty Ann McPeake, Head Housekeeper and Ms. Ginette Montembault, Breakfast Attendant.

Ms. McPeake won an award in the "Tourism Supervisor" category and Ms. Montembault won an award in the "Tourism employee" category.

"We are proud to have two of our employees as award recipients" says Fernand Trahan, President of the Board of Directors of the hotel. "This Winter, we celebrate our third year of the opening of the hotel. This is only the second year where we are eligible for this tourism gala and last year the hotel and its employees won three prizes!"

These awards are in addition to the awards already won by the hotel in 2013: the "Platinum Award", awarded by Choice Hotels Canada, 3 awards at the Regional "Grands prix du tourisme québécois" Gala, 2 prizes at the National "Grands prix du tourisme québécois" Gala and the certificate of excellence awarded by Tripadvisor. The hotel also won the "Special Jury Prize" at the 2012 Gala of the Chamber of Commerce of Val d'Or.
